Well this is my first blog entry from work. I've not blogged from here before, mainly because I've been super busy and secondly as I've not had my blog details on my work computer, but since the tragic death of the aforementioned machine I've been bringing my laptop in to work. I find it much easier and more comfortable tapping away on my little Vaio. I've not actually got much to say, except that I keep managing to bite the inside of my lip during lunch and dinner last night.
Yesterday we visited the nice little villages of Limekilns and Charlestown in Fife. We went over to theDoctors friend for dinner, and enjoyed a stroll around the remains of one of the most important and busiest harbours in Scotland. And after working up such an appeitite we returned to the cottage and indulged in summer salads, Lingoustines and haddock with freshly baked bread. The Lingoustines were freshly caught a day or two before (direct from the fishing boat) and all the vegetables were freshly grown by our host or her neighbours. And it was a great evening to sit out for hours, which we did, enjoying a glass of fine and picking blackcurrants for her jam.
All in all a great evening, and what summers (and indeed life in general) should be about.
